Prepare for plenty of sunshine Thursday, but it will still be frigid in the morning and cold in the afternoon. On Thursday night, there will be a few more clouds, but it will still be mainly clear and cold.

Friday will be slightly milder with a few more clouds moving in, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. An approaching system may develop rain and even freezing rain for some areas early Saturday morning.

The weekend forecast will be back and forth with rain on Saturday but most of the day is expected to be dry until a resurgence overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Then, there is more chances for rain as a warm front moves into the area raising temperatures near 50 in the afternoon.
