Community leaders in Flatbush are calling for peace in the wake of a string of violent crimes in the neighborhood.
In the past several weeks, the community has suffered a deadly shooting, an armed robbery and a Molotov cocktail arson attack.
Politicians and religious leaders joined residents in calling for the community to unite against the violence at a community forum Friday.
The Flatbush Development Corporation and Borough President Eric Adams' office sponsored the so-called "Community Gathering for Peace."
