Kids from all over the city turned out for the Kiddie Carnival at Brooklyn Museum on Saturday — part of the West Indian Day Parade Carnival is tailored to the city's youth.
Children enjoyed dancing, food and arts and crafts as well as the intricate costumes that are associated with Carnival.
Inclusivity was front and center this year, as one local band included kids with disabilities and hearing impairments.
"We definitely make an effort to make sure they are front and present," said Giselle Fritz, the band's leader.
The West Indian Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. Monday.
