Flatbush tops the list of noisy Brooklyn neighborhoods, according to city records.
Area residents racked up hundreds of calls to the city's 311 information line within months. From July 1 to Nov. 20, the city issued 1,200 violations citywide in response to thousands of calls from the five boroughs.
"A lot of people here are screaming, drinking, doing drugs, horn blares," complained Flatbush resident Josie Rodriguez.
Others don't mind the commotion, saying the noise makes Flatbush vibrant.
The increase in complaint calls came after the city announced a crackdown last summer. The targets include barking dogs, construction noise, traffic noise and even ice cream trucks.
While Flatbush took the dubious distinction of being the borough's noisiest area, Manhattan's Hamilton Heights topped the citywide list.
