After two years of peaceful coexistence, Montefiore Medical Center's North Campus is kicking a food cart off of its Woodlawn sidewalk.
Tito Boss Halal Food Cart's owner, which usually sets up shop on East 233rd Street, says the hospital's security guards have been harassing him to move since May. The hospital placed potted plants in the food cart's normal location, forcing it to move.
Hospital officials say the security guards asked him to move because they do not want it to be difficult to enter the hospital.
