The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is performing at Barclays Center for the third year in a row.
The acts include Mariko the Clown, a Japanese woman who says Brooklyn is her home away from home. She lived here for six years.
Another is DJ the Clown, who grew up with the circus. Performers say it takes years to perfect their skills.
The circus is in town until Sunday, but there are several cities remaining on this year's tour.
