A former priest at Cardinal Hayes High School is being accused of sexually violating at least six boys.
Two men came forward today claiming to be the victims of abuse from Brother John Justin O'Connor while they attended the school, which is run by the Irish Christian Brothers.
At least four other Cardinal Hayes teachers have been arrested and charged with sexually abusing minors dating back to the 1970s. Officials say one even served eight years in prison.
A judge has set an Aug. 1 deadline, called a bar date, to allow time for other victims to come forward. O'Connor taught in at least two other Catholic schools, officials say. He surrendered his teaching license in 2011 for a "notice of substantial question of moral character," but did not admit to any wrongdoing.
