A subway station in Brooklyn is shining after the MTA gave it a deep cleaning and wrapped up some major repairs.
Commuters who spoke with News 12 said they instantly noticed the changes to the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station. The station is the first subway renovation project to be finished in Brooklyn this year.
The MTA says its crews gave the entire station a deep clean, repainted, installed brighter LED lights throughout the station and fixed wall tiles and concrete floors that were not up to par.
