Bronx seniors are getting fit and enjoying the outdoors, thanks to a free program offered by the city. The Department of Parks and Recreation is encouraging all New Yorkers over age 60 to partake in its senior fitness program. Activities include yoga, tennis and walking through city parks. It will run for eight weeks.
