On the eve of his wake, friends and family gathered at the home of a Bronx teen who was shot and killed by police two weeks ago during an attempted narcotics bust. Ramarley Graham, 18, was unarmed when he was killed by an NYPD officer in his home on East 229th Street. Officials say he died at Montefiore Hospital shortly after arriving. Protesters added to a growing makeshift memorial, saying they will continue to strive for justice. They also say they plan on rallying every Thursday to ensure Graham is never forgotten.
