A chocolate-making school in DUMBO is churning out chefs who have a passion for desserts with a French flair.
Professional chefs from all over have been taking classes at L'Ecole Valrhona. Classes involve participants filling truffles and creating delicate bonbons, among other treats.
Chefs say the class has helped them by giving them the knowledge and skills to become better chocolatiers.
Valrhona has three other schools for professional pastry chefs - one in Japan and two in France.
