Many in Williamsburg are outraged over a fundraiser held for a man accused of sexually abusing a young girl.
Nechemia Weberman is accused of forcing a 12-year-old girl to perform lewd acts on him back in 2011. The fundraiser was held to raise money for his legal bills.
Police were on hand at the the catering hall that hosted the fundraiser in case things turn violent.
Weberman is next due in court on June 14.
