A stretch of the G train is shutting down for the first of four consecutive weekends.

The MTA will suspend service between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues starting Friday at 9:45 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday for track and signal repairs.

To help offset the impact to local businesses, a local campaign called “Look Local First” is encouraging people to shop and dine in the area during the disruptions.

Organizers have distributed maps of small businesses across Greenpoint, highlighting shops, restaurants and boutiques.

“To remind people to sort of keep it hyperlocal. Don't order things online, you know, kind of look to your local shops first,” said Perri Salka, the lead organizer at Shop Small Greenpoint.

The G train work is scheduled to continue over the next three weekends, and some weeknights. Shuttle buses will be available.
