A first-of-its-kind gaming league is allowing kids to play some of the industry's biggest hits in movie theaters across the nation.

Super League Gaming was started by a couple of dads earlier this year in Southern California in an effort to make gaming more social. The league is now expanding across the country with a 28-city summer tour, including a stop in Sheepshead Bay.

The game of choice is the mega-hit "Minecraft."

Kids ages 7-14 play can play in teams or individually on their own laptops, all while getting to see a third-person view on the movie screen in front of them.

Super League Gaming will be starting six-week sessions in theaters across the country this fall. Gamers can play once a week with friends for $120 per session.
