Consolidated Edison says the number of customers without gas due to yesterday's main break in Williamsbridge has climbed to 800.
The gas main break occurred yesterday at the corner of Barnes Avenue and East 216th Street.
Con Ed says that it could be until the weekend before gas service is restored to all affected.
