Get ready to let your child's curiosity run wild at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights

Brooklyn Children's Museum is now open Wednesday through Sunday.

President and CEO Atiba Edwards says everything in the Brooklyn Children's Museum is geared to provoke curiosity.
Edwards mentioned the museum's "people tube," also known as the rainbow tunnel located in the heart of the building.
Little explorers will make their way to World Brooklyn where they can drive a bus, checkout groceries and even make their own pie in miniature versions of some of Brooklyn's iconic and diverse stores.
"That is a great representation of Brooklyn," says Edwards.
In the Totally Tots exhibit, kids can get enjoy varied play areas that feature water, sand, slides and so much more.
You'll also want to check out Nature's Engineers, which is a hands-on exhibit meant to spark curiosity about natural science. Themes for the exhibit change and the upcoming project is featuring skyscrapers.
Brooklyn Children's Museum is now open Wednesday through Sunday. On Thursday's admission is free during "Amazon Free Hours" from 2-5 p.m.
