The New York Giants are heading to the Super Bowl after a nail-biting overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers last night.
Fans are flocking to sporting good stores across the borough today as official 2011-2012 NFC championship merchandise hits the shelves. Modell's locations across the city, including Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst, opened their doors early in preparation.
The 20-17 finish now sends Big Blue to Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots Feb. 5.
