COVID-19 has not stopped the Girl Scouts from working harder than ever.
In Brooklyn, the group is not skipping a beat and taking advantage of the new normal.
News 12 was in Brooklyn with a group that consisted of Girl Scouts mainly from the Flatbush area, but they also have members from Bay Ridge, Long Island and all over the country.
COVID-19 was a setback to travel this year, so instead they are going to meet virtually.
The same life skills are taught, including STEM, civic engagement, and cooking - with a focus on entrepreneurship.
They will also still be selling those beloved cookies this year and are offering a chance for girls from all over to sign up to become a Scout online.
