The city is building a golf course near the Whitestone Bridge. Donald Trump won the bid to run it, and that decision is now facing some major criticism.
Some critics prefer to see the land at Ferry Point Park used as a playground. But since it's the site of a former landfill, Mayor Michael Bloomberg says not much else could be done with it.
The golf course project was initially picked up by a developer back in 2000. After that deal fell through, Trump won the bid to develop and operate the course.
