An East New York church received a special visit from Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Sunday.
The governor stopped by the Christian Cultural Center to explain why he's running for re-election and to ask the congregation for its support.
Cuomo touted his on-time passing of four budgets in a row, which he says hasn't happened in New York in 40 years. He also stressed the need to educate prisoners, saying the state spends too much money keeping inmates behind bars.
Republican Rob Astorino is challenging Cuomo in the Nov. 4 election.
