An organization that was founded in Brooklyn is giving children kitchen tools this summer as it works to promote healthier eating.
Children are coming to Carroll Gardens to participate in Butter Beans' six-week summer camp.
Butter Beans and its program feeds and inspires children about healthy eating across the city.
Campers are not only filling their bellies but they're learning more about the different foods that they're eating. They are also gaining a better understanding of what they should be eating and why.

During the year, Butter Beans provides fresh and healthy school lunches to 15 schools throughout the tri-state area.
