The Guyana Folk Festival returned to Flatbush on Sunday, spotlight the country's culture and heritage.
The event, hosted by the Guyana Cultural Association of New York, gave crowds the opportunity to taste the foods and flavors of Guyana. Vendors showcased handmade clothing of vibrant colors and shoes made from fine leather.
There was also entertainment for families, with music and cultural games.
Organizers say they're coming up on their 20th anniversary and won't be stopping any time soon.
