A block party was held in Bed-Stuy to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing."
The block party was free for the community and was held between Lexington Avenue and Quincy Street -- where most of the film was shot.
The movie explores racial tensions on a summer day in Brooklyn. It was written, directed and produced by Oscar award winner Spike Lee.
Cast members tell News 12 they hope the movie's legacy will live on for another 30 years.
