Hundreds of food vendors prep meals for West Indian Day Parade
Hundreds of food vendors prepared meals for the annual West Indian American Day Parade in Crown Heights Monday.
The vendors set up along the Eastern Parkway prior to the parade at 11 a.m.
Caribbean food vendors offered national dishes, including Jamaican jerk chicken, oxtail and stewed chicken.
This year marked the 50th anniversary of the parade.
