Hundreds of new caseworkers graduated Tuesday from the Administration for Children Service's (ACS) Training Academy. In the wake of several high-profile child abuse cases, the ACS is in the midst of a full overhaul. Of the 200 new employees who just graduated from the six-week program, 21 will be working in Brooklyn. The agency also plans to increase staffing levels while improving communication with the New York Police Department and Department of Education.
