Brooklyn's large Russian community can now benefit from a manual that informs immigrants of their rights in New York City. The pamphlets are newly translated into Russian and provide advice on a variety of social services, including voting and jump-starting a business. The translation was spearheaded by Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny (D-District 46), who says the move will ease immigrants' assimilation into American society. The document is also available in Spanish, Korean and Chinese.
