A large sinkhole in Sunset Park has been fixed one year after it first opened up.
A spokesperson from the Department of Environmental Protection says they are still investigating what caused the 20-foot deep sinkhole to appear on 64th Street near Fifth Avenue on Aug. 4, 2015.
The DEP believes it was caused by a failed manhole.
The roadway has since been repaved, much to the delight of motorists and pedestrians.
