Federal and state law enforcement officials announced charges today against nearly 100 New Yorkers accused of prescription drug trafficking. Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes unsealed a 50-count indictment against five men accused of running a drug ring centered in Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge. Hynes says the men sold oxycodone, marijuana and cocaine. In an independent case, U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch announced the settlement of a civil action suit against a Gravesend pharmacy owner. She says Mark Khaskelzon agreed to pay $105,000 after forging 88 oxycodone prescriptions.
