A livery cab driver is in the hospital after allegedly being attacked by a group of kids in East New York.
According to police, Rafael Grullon was sitting in his car in front of State Car Service on Livonia Avenue Friday night when kids as young as 10 years old began punching him through his open window.
The 56-year-old drove to the 75th Precinct and was rushed to Kings County Hospital from there. His family says he received nine stitches above his eye and will need surgery.
President of the State Federation of Taxi Drivers says that the victim was targeted at random, and that the assault may have been a gang initiation.
