One man is dead after shots rang out in Coney Island overnight.
According to police, at least 200 people were attending some kind of barbecue or party near Kaiser Park on Bayview Avenue when a fight broke out at around midnight.
Investigators say they found a man in his 50s with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not yet been released.
It remains unclear if the victim was involved in the initial dispute. A weapon has not been recovered and so far, authorities have not provided any details about possible suspects.
