A 41-year-old man is recovering after he was slashed in the neck inside a check cashing business in Flatbush, according to the NYPD.

Police say the incident happened just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday night inside PLS Check Cashers on Nostrand Avenue. Investigators say there was some kind of dispute between the man and another person—and it turned violent fast.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.

NYPD detectives say the two men didn’t know each other—this appears to be a random fight that broke out.

The person who did it ran off right after, and was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt.

As of this morning, no arrests have been made.
