Police say that a man was stabbed near the Maria Hernandez Park and two people were taken into custody.
The incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Starr Street and Irving Avenue, near the Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick. A 41-year-old man was stabbed in the armpit and abdomen. EMS took him to NYC Health+Hospitals/Elmhurst and is now stable.
Two people of interest were taken into custody, according to police. No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing,
