Man struck by car in Bay Ridge
A man is in the hospital after being struck by a car in Bay Ridge. The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Officials say the man was crossing Bay Parkway near Bath Avenue when he was struck.

A man is in the hospital after being struck by a car in Bay Ridge.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say the man was crossing Bay Parkway near Bath Avenue when he was struck.
Police blocked off the southbound lane to investigate. The Department of Transportation was also on scene to check that all lanes and crosswalks are properly marked.
The victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital with head trauma.
