Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man responsible for a slashing incident that occurred last Saturday in Sunset Park.

Authorities say it happened around 2 a.m. outside a Mexican restaurant on 4th Avenue.

The suspect cut the victim’s hand after an argument, according to police.

The victim was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
