Residents in one Brooklyn neighborhood say they fly their stars and stripes all year round. Marine Park residents say no neighborhood in the city is more patriotic. They say a recent wave of flag burnings in their community has only made their patriotism stronger. They say the Fourth of July is a time to remember the sacrifices their family and friends made for freedom. Police say they are investigating the flag burnings as a case of criminal mischief. No arrests have been made. City Council members provided new flags to the residents whose flags were burned.
