Borough President Marty Markowitz is taking sides when it comes to a city basketball rivalry, and he says Brooklyn residents better do the same.
In a video message, Markowitz said that local fans who pick the New York Knicks over the Brooklyn Nets are committing treason.
"There's no room for you in Brooklyn unless you support our home team," he said.
