Mayor Bill de Blasio took questions from concerned residents in Flatbush Monday about his controversial affordable housing plan.
The town hall meeting, held at P.S. 6 on Snyder Avenue, came ahead of the City Council's vote next week on key parts of that proposal.
The mayor spoke about the parts of his plan that have already passed within the City Council, like requiring developers to set aside 20 percent of housing for families making less than $31,000 per year.
He also said there would be increased funding for legal aid for those being evicted.
The council still has to vote on the the plan to build or preserve 200,000 affordable housing units in the next 10 years.
