Restaurants can begin to reopen their outdoor dining operations at 6 p.m., according to a tweet from Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Restaurants were allowed to reopen their outdoor dining operations tonight following closures for the nor'easter.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said that outdoor dining structures “held up very well” during the worst of the nor’easter that blanketed the Northeast overnight.
News 12's Sabrina Franza was at the Kingsbridge Social Club where the owner spoke about the challenges the snow and the pandemic have raised for his business.
The owner says some challenges include retaining staff and getting enough customers to keep the business afloat.
