Members of Darien Pride are questioning a new policy proposal that would limit flag displays to only those that represent national, state and local government.

Some suspect the policy is a covert attempt to prevent the display of rainbow flags in Town Hall and recreation areas, a common practice in nearby communities.

Darien officials plan to discuss the policy in a public meeting this evening.
