- This weekend will be a wintry mess with accumulating wet snow and waves of soaking rain.
- It's very cold, windy and partly cloudy this morning. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 20s. Wind chills are in the upper teens to low 20s.
- Today will be brighter, brisk and blustery. Highs in the mid to upper 30s.
- Saturday will start off very cold and cloudy. Steady moderate snow showers arrive after 12 p.m. through 9 p.m. Saturday. 1-3 inches of snowfall is possible through Saturday night. 3 inches will be closer to the Northern Bronx, while Brooklyn will have closer to 1 inch of snow. Snow changes to rain between 9 p.m. through 8 a.m. Sunday. There will be brief breaks Sunday morning/midday from the wet weather, but the roads remain slick. Another batch of steady moderate rain moves in after 1 p.m. through 8 p.m. on Sunday. A rumble of thunder is possible. 1-1.5 inches of rainfall is expected. Large puddles and street flooding in low lying/poor drainage areas and poor visibility is expected. Stay tuned for changes!
