A cloudy and windy night gives way to a cooler and rainy Wednesday. Rain arrives by mid to late morning, with showers becoming steadier throughout the afternoon and evening. An evening storm is possible but will not become severe. Drenching rain persists throughout the day into early parts of the overnight offering around a half an inch of rain.

This system brings an abrupt change to temperatures, with Wednesday highs in the high 60s and Thursday and Friday highs seeing the high 50s and low to mid-60s.

By Sunday (Mother's Day), we will see temperatures back in the low 70s. Until then we will bounce around the middle to higher 60s. Rain could make an appearance for Saturday, but is trending dry for Mother's Day, as of right now.
