A group of Morris Park businesses came together to host a "Cuts for Cancer" fundraiser in memory of a popular mom who lost her battle with the disease.
The Stage Salon and Mary Kay cosmetics teamed up to put on the weekend event, with 10 local vendors taking part. For just $20, Bronx women could get a haircut, blowout or a facial for a good cause.
Tina Falciano died of lung cancer in 2009. Her family says it was great to see how many people loved her and turned out to help raise money.
