Cloudy skies will greet us this morning, and it does feel a little cool out there with temperatures starting in the 60s. We’re also tracking some rain showers, especially across eastern Suffolk County. As we head through the day, there will still be a chance of a passing shower, but we should gradually see some breaks of sunshine developing. The later in the day we go, the drier it should become. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Tonight looks quiet and comfortable with partly cloudy skies. Overnight temperatures will fall back into the 60s as we head into Saturday morning. Overall, it should be a pretty decent night if you have any outdoor plans.
Saturday starts with a few breaks of sunshine, but clouds will quickly become the main story. Scattered showers are expected to develop during the afternoon, so keep the umbrella nearby if you have outdoor plans. It will also be cooler, with high temperatures only reaching the mid-70s. Showers will become more widespread Saturday night, and a few thunderstorms will also be possible into early Sunday morning. Overnight lows will remain in the 60s.
