Motorcyclist transported to Brooklyn hospital after truck collision in Bed-Stuy

Witnesses tell News 12 a motorcyclist is lucky to be alive after a truck collision Wednesday afternoon that sent him to Brookdale Hospital.

Witnesses tell News 12 a motorcyclist is lucky to be alive after a truck collision Wednesday afternoon that sent him to Brookdale Hospital.
Surveillance video obtained by News 12 shows a truck making a right turn into Ralph Avenue from Atlantic Avenue. The motorcycle isn't visible until it appears to be beneath the truck, dragged along the pavement.
The motorcyclist's condition is not clear at this time. News 12 is told he was observed to be moving before being transported to the hospital.
This comes after Mayor Bill de Blasio signed a new bill into law to punish reckless drivers who repeatedly break the law.
There is no word if any arrests have been made at this time.
News 12 is told this is an ongoing investigation.
