Museum opens art exhibit honoring enslaved, freed workers

A local museum is sharing the stories of Black men and women who were enslaved in the city.
The Dyckman Farmhouse Museum in Inwood was built in the late 1700s.
Officials with the museum say enslaved and freed Black men and women lived and worked at the Dyckman Farmhouse in the early 1800s.
The museum has an exhibit with different art installations to share and honor that history.
The museum is doing private tours with up to five people in a group.
The exhibit will be up through September.
