Muslim community leaders are calling for stronger security measures in the wake of arson attacks on a mosque and several other buildings in Queens last night. Police say an African-American man in his late 20s, along with other possible suspects, attacked four sites with molotov cocktails. The locations included the Al-Khoei Islamic Center, a Hindu house of worship, a bodega and a residence. Police say they're investigating the fires as bias crimes. Activists say they are working with Islamic institutions across the borough to retain security guards and surveillance cameras. "We don't know if this is a one-time thing or part of some larger operation going on here," says Linda Sarsour, of the Arab Association of New York.
