Shocking new police body camera video has been released for a police-involved shooting in Brownsville back in November that left a man dead and an officer injured.

Police say they came to an apartment building on Thomas S. Boyland Street to investigate after a man was shot dead outside of the building. Police have identified him as 41-year-old Leroy Wallace.

NEW VIDEO: Surveillance video shows moment gunman opens fire in Brownsville that left 2 dead, officer hurt.

Hours later, body camera video shows police going into the building, when a man they say is Dashawn Larode opens the door holding a shotgun. Police then fatally shot Larode.

Police say a bullet from the shotgun recovered from the scene grazed an officer in the face.

This comes as at least the 10th police-involved shooting in Brooklyn so far this year.

As with all police-involved shootings, the incident is being investigated by the Attorney General's Office.
