A new and improved public safety answering service is coming to The Bronx.
The call center will house a 911 system where police, fire and EMS call takers will all work together. It will also be updated with the latest technology.
The first public safety answering center is already operating in Brooklyn and is set to be completed in The Bronx in 2015.
