New Mexico town rings in New Year with dumpster fire

Under the supervision of the fire department, residents were able to burn items from 2020 like calendars and used masks to ring in 2021.

It's pretty safe to say that 2020 wasn't the best year.
So a town in New Mexico decided to give the year a fitting send off.   
Instead of counting down to midnight, the town of Belen built their own dumpster fire.
Under the supervision of the fire department, residents were able to burn items from 2020 like calendars and used masks to ring in 2021.
