New York City Animal Care and Control teamed up with the Brooklyn Brewery in hopes of matching dogs and cats with loving owners in Williamsburg Saturday.
The event was called "Adoptoberfest." Adoption counselor Damion Sanders says they are reducing the price of animals for the month of October. All Animal Care and Control adoptions come with a pre-registered micro-chip, a collar and free vaccinations.
The animals are also spayed or neutered, and their initial visit to participating veterinarians is free.
